What we collect and where it comes from

• What you give us. When you fill out a form on our site or on one of our Facebook or Instagram ads, call or text us, or buy a trailer, parts or service, we get what you provide: name, phone number, email, zip code, the trailer or service you are asking about, what you plan to haul, trade-in details, and, for a purchase, the information on your bill of sale and title paperwork.
• Calls and texts. Our business phone lines record the number you called or texted from, the time, and the message. Some calls may be recorded or transcribed so we can follow up accurately.
• Website use. Like most websites we use cookies and similar tools from Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (the Facebook pixel) that note which pages you visit and whether you contacted us. They do not tell us your name unless you give it to us.
• Financing. If you apply for financing or rent-to-own, your application goes directly to the lender or rental company you choose. We see only whether it was approved and the amount, never your credit report or social security number.

How we use it

• To answer your question, send you a quote or an out-the-door price, and confirm a trailer is available before you drive here.
• To hold a trailer for you, process a deposit or a sale, title and register the trailer, and schedule service or parts pickup.
• To follow up on a request you made, including by text if you asked us to text you.
• To ask for a review after a purchase or service visit.
• To keep our records, meet Louisiana dealer and tax requirements, and prevent fraud.
• To understand which pages and ads bring people to us, so we can run better ones.

Texting and calling consent

When you submit a form that says we may call or text you, or you text our number first, you agree that Ragin Trailers may call or text you about your request at the number you gave. Message frequency depends on your request. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us by phone or email and we will stop. Reply HELP for help. We do not send marketing texts to anyone who has not asked for them, and we do not share your phone number with other businesses for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only as needed to serve you:

• Service providers that run our website forms, customer database, phone and texting lines, email, and payment processing. They may use your information only to do that work for us.
• Lenders and rent-to-own companies, only when you ask us to send your application to them.
• The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles and our floorplan lender, as required to title and register a trailer you buy.
• Advertising platforms (Google, Meta) receive the cookie and pixel data described above so we can measure our ads. Meta and Google act under their own privacy policies.
• When the law requires it, such as a subpoena, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

Inquiries and quotes are kept for about two years so we can help you if you come back. Sales, title and tax records are kept as long as Louisiana law requires. Text message history stays with our phone provider under their retention rules.

Your choices

• Ask us what we have on file for you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email ragintrailers@yahoo.com or call 337.504.3820. We will delete what we are not required to keep for a sale or by law.
• Opt out of texts by replying STOP. Opt out of review requests or follow-ups by telling us once.
• Control cookies in your browser settings. Ad settings for Google and Meta are in your accounts with those companies.

Children

Our website and ads are for adults buying trailers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the effective date at the top. Continuing to use our site or contact us after a change means you accept the updated policy.
